Zusammenfassung

Die Psychotonik Volkmar Glasers gründet auf das unwillkürliche motorische Ausdrucksverhalten, das die situative Gebundenheit eines Menschen im sozialen Kontakt bestimmt. Muskuläre Dystonien können damit Aufschluss geben über Störungen im Interaktionsmuster eines Menschen. Glaser hat den Außenraumbezug des Qi-Flusses in den Leitbahnen herausgearbeitet und gelangte damit zu einer psychosomatischen Deutung der chinesischen Meridiane (Keiraku). Die pädagogische oder therapeutische Anwendung der „Keiraku-Lehre” kann helfen, humane Ressourcen freizulegen und zu entwickeln.

Abstract

Volkmar Glaser's system of “Psychotonics” is based upon the involuntary motoric expressions – occurring constantly in communication. Dystonic muscles may yield information about the kind of dysfunction happening during social interaction. V. Glaser's merit consists in having demonstrated the relation of the Qi-containing meridians within a person to the nature and quality of that person's connection to the exterior world. In this context, the meridians as depicted in Oriental Medicine, especially in connection with the idea of Keiraku, serve as the basis for a psychosomatic interpretation. Applying the idea of Keiraku in a pedagogical or a therapeutical setting helps to reveal and foster human potential.
